HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking confirmation

A booking is not confirmed until the client completes the Online Booking Form, pays the $100 deposit, and receives confirmation of the booking from OZ 4 TWO BOOTH. By paying the deposit is an acknowledgement that you have read, understand & accept these terms & conditions.

Payments

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is payable upon booking. The balance of the booking cost is payable at least 7 days before the client’s event. If the balance of the booking costs is not received at least 7 days before the event date, the booking can be cancelled, the deposit will be forfeited and OZ 4 TWO BOOTH can book another event. If the client requests use of OZ 4 TWO BOOTH services in excess of the time noted on the Booking Form, this will be billed at $100 per hour for Open Booth/Retro Booth/Gif Booth and $300 per hour for Mirror Booth. Each additional hour payable upfront in cash only at the time of agreement to the extension of time. Agreement must be in agreeing by all parties including us & the venue. We are not required to stay beyond the original booking time but will take each occasion on a one on one basis. We will normally decline the offer to stay longer if your event is getting out of hand or guests are getting too intoxicated. Our banking details for direct deposit will be noted on your invoice and should not change at any time. We will not be liable for payments made to the wrong location.

GST

All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation

Requests for changes of the event date must be made in writing via email. No request will be accepted via a phone call or verbal. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will result in the client forfeiting all payments made. OZ 4 TWO BOOTH can cancel any booking at any time if the client becomes unreasonable to deal with or fails to co-operate. If OZ 4 TWO BOOTH decides to cancel a booking, all payments made will be refunded to the Client.

Delivery + Travel fees

Location within 30kms from Melbourne CBD doesn't have a travel fee.

For more than 30kms but less than 60kms, travel fee is still waive provided that you will hire us 3 hours or more. 

Travel fee is costs $5 for every 5 kilometres in excess of the 60 km distance from Melbourne CBD. Parking in Melbourne CBD will be arranged or paid for by the client.

Hiring, Delivery & Service

Delivery, set up and removal of the equipment are free of charge. Time taken to deliver, set up and remove the equipment will be outside the rental period. The booth attendant will aim to arrive 1 and 1/2 hour prior to hire time to setup.  Earlier setup time can be arranged in discussion with OZ 4 TWO BOOTH and an idle fee may apply for setup 5 hours earlier than the designated hour. A booth attendant will always be within close proximity of the equipment at all times to ensure smooth running.

Requirements / Workplace Health & Safety requirements

The client shall ensure a safe and appropriate environment is provided for OZ 4 TWO BOOTH to operate its equipment. The client must ensure an area of approximately 3m x 3m (which includes space for our attendant tables) and one normal power outlet within 5 metres. If the photo booth is to be set up outdoors, the booth and attendant will require sufficient protection from the elements, in the form of sufficient opaque overhead and side cover on at least two sides, to afford protection from rain, humidity, wind and/or sunlight. It will be the client’s responsibility to ensure their venue function coordinator or private function coordinator is aware of these requirements and can accommodate them. The client is responsible for paying any charges or fines imposed by the venue, or required to access the venue or excess charges getting to the venue. These charges may include, but are not limited to, parking, electricity, ferry fees, tolls.

We agree to supply a wide variety of props for our clients and their guests to use at their booked event. We reserve the right to withhold or remove all or certain props from use if the attendant considers they are being damaged, mistreated or continually removed from the photo booth area.

Safety precautions/booth rules:

* No food, drinks, cigarettes or e-cigarettes on the props/album tables and in the photo booth area.
* No chairs or other objects to stand on to be taken into the photo booth area at all times unless allowed by the photo booth attendant.
* Children under the age of 10 to be accompanied by an adult when selecting props & when inside the photo booth area.
* No props to be removed from the photo booth area.

Damage to equipment

In order to prevent damage to equipment, OZ 4 TWO BOOTH reserves the right to deny service to any person. If circumstances arise where a threat or implied threat of harm, damage or violence to OZ 4 TWO BOOTH’s staff or equipment, OZ 4 TWO BOOTH reserves the right to cease providing services. If the client is able to resolve the threatening situation within 20 minutes, OZ 4 TWO BOOTH will resume services. If the situation is unable to be resolved, OZ 4 TWO BOOTH will not resume providing service and the client will receive no refund of booking cost. Our security & safety at your event is fully your responsibility at ALL times. Any damage to Z 4 TWO BOOTH’s equipment during the client’s event caused by the client, client’s guests or any other person in attendance at the event whether invited or not, will result in the cost to repair/replace the equipment. The client will also be responsible for all financial recovery costs if repair/replacement costs are not paid. The client is fully responsible for our security & safety while attending your event that includes during set up & more importantly the pack down at the end of the night among any drunk & intoxicated guests & covers our staff, equipment & vehicle until we leave the actual venue premises.

Use of Images

The client gives permission for all photos taken during the event to be used on OZ 4 TWO BOOTH’s website, facebook page and other promotional material. We will remove images if requested in writing and also comply with not displaying any images upfront if notified in writing only beforehand. OZ 4 TWO BOOTH will not use images which are deemed unsuitable on the website or for advertising and will not use any content that may be personally damaging to any person/s.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for failing to perform under the Agreement by the occurrence of any event beyond our reasonable control, including a labour disturbance, Internet outage or interruption of service, communication outage failure by a service provided to us to perform, fire, threatened or actual act of terrorism, natural disaster, or war. If such circumstances arise, OZ 4 TWO BOOTH will make all reasonable efforts to provide service or find a suitable replacement service. If this is not be possible, the client will receive a refund of partial or all payments received by OZ 4 TWO BOOTH for the booking at our discretion depending on the circumstances. The client agrees that in all circumstances, OZ 4 TWO BOOTH’s liability is limited to an amount equal to the booking cost and not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Attendants/ Staff

Attendants/staff are to be provided with a supplier meal at ALL evening bookings regardless of time of 4 hours or more to the same standard as the guests of the function.
